Abstract Sculpture Paintings

Abstract Sculpture Paintings is a series that explores the tension between sculpture and painting, where colorful objects and abstract lines translate moments of lived experience.

Abstract Sculpture Painting system

The process forms a system: I transform a two-dimensional image into a three-dimensional form by dividing it into horizontal layers, each assigned a specific color. The image becomes a stack of colored glass plates, which is then placed on a glassblowing pipe and shaped. In this way, the original two-dimensional color pattern evolves into an abstract three-dimensional object.

The series originates from my need to reflect on personal experiences in an increasingly digitized world that seems to move ever faster. With this project, I wanted to pause to create an oasis of calm. A space to look around, to ask questions, to contemplate processes, and to re-evaluate the value of experience itself.

For me, Abstract Sculpture Painting is a way of expressing through form and color. Each work embodies deeply personal moments, yet I deliberately cast them in a highly abstract language so that they may transcend the individual and invite new experiences that can be shared by many.
